Songs of the Inner Sky is an evocative intercultural collaboration that brings together master musicians from four distinct spiritual and musical traditions: Indian Baul and classical, Chinese erhu and percussive arts, Turkish Sufi and Anatolian folk, and Armenian duduk. Rooted in sacred music and shaped by improvisation, this project transcends borders to celebrate the shared human longing for inner peace, transcendence, and connection.

The ensemble is composed of celebrated artists:
– Malabika Brahma, an acclaimed Indian Baul singer and songwriter, known for her deeply spiritual voice and contemporary take on Bengali mystic traditions.
– Erhu master Guo Gan, the first ever Chinese musician to be awarded the French Chevalier des Lettres et des Art blending Chinese classical roots with global expressions.
– Emre Gültekin, Turkish-Belgian multi-instrumentalist and vocalist, carrying the lineage of Alevi and Sufi traditions through the saz and poetic song.
– Saradindu Adhikary, Indian percussionist and scholar, representing the rhythmic heritage of Bengal and beyond.

At its core, Songs of the Inner Sky is an act of artistic diplomacy. It offers audiences a rare opportunity to witness cross-cultural dialogue through music that is both ancient and urgent, devotional yet universal. Each performance becomes a ritual of unity, where language and politics dissolve into a shared sonic landscape of humanity.
